Introduction 




Broad areas of dark blotching replace the vertical stripes of the Tiger Barb on this strain.Body colors and patterns vary, but the fin colors is constant.Breeding females are plumper.

This color variety is aquarium-bred and does not occur in the wild.

They are omnivorous .Feed the fry newly hatched brine shrimp until large enough to accept crushed flake food.
