Introduction
A thin gold line, overlaid by blue lines, runs from the eye to the end of the caudal peduncle, where it terminates in a dark patch surrounded by red.The dorsal , pelvic and anal fins are edged with red, yellow or white and the scales are dark edged.

Accept most food sources and will readily accept flake food when kept in aquariums..A good quality dried product can be used as the staple diet but this should be supplemented with regular meals of small live and frozen fare such as bloodworm, Daphnia, Artemia, etc. for the fish to develop the best colouration and conditioning.
