Tiger Barb


Introduction


The pale brown body is crossed by four dark vertical bands and the black dorsal fin has the red edge.Pectoral and pelvic fins are also red, caudal fin has  red upper and lower lobes.The snout is bright in the males.Females tend to be less intensely marked.

Diet

They are omnivorous .Feed the fry newly hatched brine shrimp until large enough to accept crushed flake food.
