Introduction
The Spotted Rasbora is not uniform in shape as compared to Clown Rasbora (opposite); the caudal peduncle, in particular is longer and narrower. Similarity is found in the dark spots along the flanks.The fins of this species may be reddish, and the dorsal has black and pink front rays.The ventral profile of the male is flat.

Daily meals of small live and frozen fare such as Daphnia, Artemia and suchlike will result in the best colouration and encourage the fish to come into breeding condition.
